After an exotic bird arrives at a US port, a serious man called Ryszard Przybyszewski finds his colleagues stricken with uncontrollable laughter; as the fatal malady spreads into a pandemic, Ryszard tries to save his unruly Polish dad and jovial wife, all while trying to survive a dystopian society.
